YogaPoke: Spring Edition
Back with popular demand is yoga and acupuncture! We’re here to help you shed the cloak of winter and usher you into spring. Herbal tea blends for relaxation provide a natural way to ease your body into this transition while providing great health benefits. Acupuncture also provides a beneficial way to transition your body into the cooling sensation of the season. With benefits like reduced stress, enhanced mental clarity and increased energy, you’ll be able to settle into your self care routine with the right tools. You can come to learn what it is, how it helps and what it feels like.
Our yoga practice will be a Yin-style “season cleaning”. Poses and sequences will focus on the liver meridian (the organ of foresight, vision, and planning) and will be geared toward clearing out what is no longer serving you in your life while making room for what does serve you.
Afterwards, you’ll be guided through the basics of acupunctures benefits with Jessica Schwartz, a licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, and massage therapist. Jessica takes a holistic and integrative approach to health and wellness and focuses on balancing the body, mind, and spirit of each unique individual. She works with the intention of helping patients meet their health goals and improving their quality of life by reducing pain, easing stress and tension, and regulating imbalance.
For this event, we recommend wearing comfy clothing for yoga and loose tops for acupuncture!
